helping women choose life

hello

I'm Lindsey, a speaker, content creator & contributor. Soon to be author.

My Purpose: To help change the lives of women for the better, forever.

My life's journey from babies, business and breakdown led me here today.  Thankfully it didn’t end there.

Over the past eight years, I’ve experienced perinatal depression, the loss of my business and a mental health crisis. Returned to a career, bravely stepped into my day‑one of sobriety and lived into the years beyond.

I've learnt how to live consciously, to heal. I've done the work which has helped me become more emotionally mature.

But it doesn’t stop at the comeback, I intend to help women rise and stay risen.

To share not just how to find the light, but how to remain in it.  To live into the joy, the peace, the love we all fought so hard to reach.

We all know the dark
We all crave the light
We all fear losing it

I’ve finally found the courage to share my voice through media, events, workshops and other creative outlets. To speak, to inspire and teach the art of of how we can notice, find, navigate and remain in the light....forever...together.  contact me today

Babies, Business, Bust & Burnout
Where it all started...babies! Nobody tells you about the impact of babies on your life. Everything you knew, the changes, the grief of your old self and fear of who the heck are you now. Couple that with a business and perinatal depression and of course you are going to reach breaking point. I did, but I also returned to who I was always meant to be and can help others return too.

On Survival Mode
When you’re in survival mode, you’re not living, you’re coping. And coping isn’t the same as choosing. There are lots of things we can do to recognise survival mode which is where it all begins.

Addiction - Stigma, Shame, Day one and Beyond
Crisis led to reliance on alcohol, it's a vicious cycle and one feeds the other. I intend to reduce shame and stigma around alcohol addiction. It doesn't look like you think it does, it impacts somebody in every family and is a huge secret we all keep. I share what it takes to get to your day one, the journey beyond and learning to live in the peace we fought so hard to find.

Learning Emotional Maturity
I had to build emotional maturity from scratch. No one taught me how to feel, there was a time I didn't even know what the name of what I was feeling. I didn't know what was going on inside my own body, my nervous system. This is a lifelong quest to regulate to sustain the peace we find. It's a biggie.

Accepting Love & Kindness
When we are in despair, have low self esteem and don't actually think much of ourselves. One of the biggest challenges is to open your heart, it's closed so tight in protection mode that it takes concious awareness and learning to open it. Open it up to accept the love and kindness which is all around you, I want to help you experience this for yourself. It changes everything.

 The Art of 'Noticing'
You can't change what you can't see. The backbone of my work in this space is around the art of 'noticing' #chooselifenoticenow

The Rise
The comeback and life transformation is an incredible journey, whether you are on it now, intend to be or in fact have no clue this is the path you need to take. There is so much support for you on, the rise is messy, can be dark but each and every time you spiral up something changes inside of you. My intention is help show you how the rise is possible and help you stay risen.

The Quiet Role of Sustained Stability
Another core element of my work and is what my book will be shaped around. Everybody talks about the rise, the transformation, the crisis and breakthrough. But what happens next is just as important. I shine a light on the uncomfortable way we feel when we are actually 'comfortable' in our life. If you have lived in constant fear, have been living emotionaly unaware and 'asleep', been through addictions of any kind, mental health crisis and have carried trauma with you everyday for the most part of your life.  When you finally find peace, it can be tough to accept. Let's shine a light on this. Stability isn’t a finish line. It’s a daily practice. #sustainedstability
